Alright, I’ll admit it. Manny Pacquiao was very impressive versus Josh Clottey last night in Cowboys Stadium. The fight was never in question, and Pac-Man or Man-Pac or whatever you want to call him was dominant from the opening bell. But is anyone surprised?
No one truly believed that Clottey could give him a fight. Sure, Clottey is slightly taller, and slightly heavier, but he was severely outmatched on paper and in the squared circle. He is not only one of the best fighters today, but one of the greatest of all time, and I hate throwing around terms like that so easily nowadays.
But he is not alone. After his unanimous decision, and damn was it an easy one to make, Pacquiao proclaimed that the whole world wants to see him fight Floyd “Money” Mayweather. He claims that he wants it to happen as well. Really? Really, Manny? You see, I have a hard time believing you. I believe that Mayweather wants the fight. I know the entire boxing community wants to see the fight. But I struggle to see the truth in that actually want the fight.

You claim to be scared of needles and giving blood, and would thus not consent to a contrac with Mayweather. That is why you fought Clottey, and why Mayweather will face “Sugar” Shane Mosley in May. That bout should be about as one-sided as last nights was, with Mayweather showing why he is undefeated.
So then, Manny, what are you hiding? A grown man scared of needles? Is that really the best that you’ve got!? You couldn’t come up with a better out than that? This lead me to think it is one of two things. 1. You are a cheater. Clearly, PED’s must be an important part of the Pacquiao training regimen. Or…2. You are just that damn afraid of Money Mayweather. If not, then prove us all wrong. Stop hiding behind Freddie Roach and having him do all the trash talking, while you simply state what the world wants to hear. Be a man!
I do feel that one day this fight will happen. And when it finally does, I hope that when they annaounce the winner, Money Mayweather will still be undefeated, and you will still be staring up at the lights!
