Bruins Head To Next Round

The Bruins are advancing to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals after defeating the Buffalo Sabres last night 4-3 at the Boston Garden.  They are now waiting to see if they play the Penguins or Flyers in round 2.

The Bruins scored the first two goals off power plays and got almost halfway through the second period before giving up a goal to Buffalo’s Patrick Kaleta (Assist- BOS Michael Ryder).  They managed to score another pair and hang on to the lead throughout the game.

The score doesn’t reflect it but goaltending was certainly the highlight of this game.  Rask and Miller’s performances were outstanding throughout this entire series and go to show you how great a game can be with two great goalies.

I’m excited that the Bruins are continuing on and hope they can keep the games as exciting.
