The first official running day is the books for us, how about you?
I have to admit that it feels a lot better than I thought to be active again. I am still trying to work out a good pace that I can keep up consistently and fighting for breath as I recondition my asthmatic lungs to something more taxing than a flight of stairs or holding my breath while I take a sip of beer (progress is progress though).
Today’s run was better than I had anticipated, I only had to slow down a few times to catch my breath and I felt really good at then (which means I didn’t push hard enough).
I’ll be happy to have an off day tomorrow as I mentally prepare for Thursday.
