The 2013 NFL Week 1 season began with an offensive explosion from Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos as they blew out the defending champion Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night. While only starters on the defensive side of the ball were the big question marks in terms of the Injury Report, many big time offensive fantasy football stars are listed for this weekend’s games. Rob Gronkowski is listed as doubtful for the New England Patriots as they prepare to annihilate the Buffalo Bills on the road. While Gronk is likely to miss the first couple of games at least to start the season, other players may be a bit more fortunate.
Roddy White is listed as probable for the Atlanta Falcons when they prepare to take on the New Orleans Saints in what should be another high-scoring affair. White said he never expected to miss this huge NFC South tilt to begin the season.
Another big time wide receiver who is expected to start is Victor Cruz. The New York Giants will take on the Dallas Cowboys in the Sunday Night Football opener. If you love shoot-outs, this one should also be on the list.
Arian Foster is said to be looking very good as the Houston Texans prepare to face the San Diego Chargers in one of two Monday Night Football season debut games. He was never in serious jeopardy of missing this game, but his workload may be closely monitored.
