Week 5 of the Fantasy Football season is here, but Calvin Johnson will not be a part of it when the Detroit Lions take on the Green Bay Packers. The wide receiver was unable to make it through pre-game warm-ups and will miss his first game since the 2010 NFL season. That leaves Matthew Stafford without his biggest weapon on offense, meaning Reggie Bush will have to play an even larger role if Detroit is to have any chance whatsoever of keeping the game close against Green Bay.
For fantasy football purposes, remove Johnson immediately, bump up Bush and taper expectations a bit with Stafford, although the Lions will be expected to have to throw the ball a lot as they fall further and further behind, meaning Stafford could rack up plenty of garbage time points.

Should we still start Stafford?
I’m facing him in my money league and think he struggles early, but could rack up some garbage points in the 2nd half. Depends on who your back-up QB is or who is available on the waiver wire…
