We offset again due to Halloween which I have to say was a total let down. What a waste of a night, kids just blew past our street and we even had good candy. Maybe I’ll just be a curmudgeon next year and not even turn the light on! Anyway, we have run a lot since the last post… so hear we go!
WEEK 11 DAY 4 – 5 MILES (..a day early again)
5 Miles on the treadmill is actually getting a lot easier than I thought though I got stuck watching the end credits of a TV show because I didn’t push myself hard enough… I guess that’ll teach me! The gazelle is unstoppable on long distances. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to keep up with her if she’s spooked by a lion while we’re running…

WEEK 11 DAY 6 – 6 MILES / ROCK & BREW
We had an absolute blast at the Rock and Brew 5K and will definitely consider doing more events with beer tastings at the end! The course was a lot tougher than we had anticipated as we had to run through a grass field at one point that forced you to slow down a lot and be sure of your footing but the rock music and beer was a blast. We both posted our best 5K times and I only finished 1 second behind the gazellle!

WEEK 11 DAY 7 – 2-3 MILES
I don’t want to talk about it. My times and results have been redacted… The Gazelle was great though.
DAY 77 of 280 – 2-3 MILE RUN – RESULTS
WEEK 12 DAY 2 – 5 MILES
I was actually preparing myself for 6 miles today on my way home when I realized it was only 5… I then proceeded to laugh as I thought “Only 5 miles” not “Oh my dear god 5 miles”. I’m really enjoying running on a consistent basis, more so after I have run though. 5 Miles went great today.
DAY 79 of 280 – 5 MILE RUN – RESULTS
How are you staying motivated to run after a long day at work?
