The Discover Orange Bowl is just over a month away and, while fans do not get to select which two teams play in this season’s prestigious BCS Bowl Game, what if they got to voice their opinion anyway? Following the Week 15 games, including the five major conference championship games, the BCS Bowl Games will be announced on Sunday, December 8. Teams are still fighting to prove they deserve an invitation to one of the five BCS Bowl Games, including the Discover Orange Bowl in Miami on January 3, 2014. And while fans may not have the final influence over the voters and in the polls and the BCS Standings, they can still let the world know who they feel is most deserving to play in the Discover Orange Bowl. It is extremely easy to cheer on your team and try to convince the BCS Committee that your favorite college football team should be invited to play in the 2014 Discover Orange Bowl game on January 3 in Miami. The conversation before December 9th focuses on who fans think will earn a berth in the Discover Orange Bowl Friday, January 3, 2014. After the teams are selected, the conversation will shift to focus on the fan bases of the teams who earned a berth in the Discover Orange Bowl. From now through December 9, fans have the option to share their fan-centric photos via Instagram, tweet for their team or recruit their friends via Facebook—all in the name of cheering for their favorite college football team online. But don’t think there won’t be competition; fans can also monitor the ongoing fan conversation on the dashboard which tracks team related hashtags and keywords, including #DiscoverOrangeBowl.
Therefore, if you really are a fan of any of the aforementioned teams listed above, then you had better prove it by visiting the website and casting your vote. But, don’t just stop there. Tweet it, shout it out on Facebook and display it all over Facebook! After all, fans of the other teams will, so you better make sure to represent for your favorite college football team!
