Is Derek Jeter Getting Married To Hannah Davis One Week After Yankees Retirement?

Derek Jeter always said that he would not get married until after his retirement from the New York Yankees. Now, with his playing days behind him, could Jeter, who said he is “100% retired,” be getting married just one week after calling it a career? If he is, then it would mean that Hannah Davis was able to do something that the likes of Minka Kelly, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Mariah Carey, Adrianna Lima, Tyra Banks and many more could not.

That would be getting Derek Jeter to put a ring on it and tie the knot.

According to a TMZ report, Jeter will be front and center at a huge, secret extravaganza at a historic castle on Long Island, where vendors and guests will be gathering for a gigantic celebration involving The Captain. Now, what they will be gathering for is still in question.

Even TMZ does not yet know for sure what exactly will be taking place, but that has not kept them from speculating.

“Now here’s where things get tricky — we’ve spoken with multiple sources who tell us the event in question is a retirement party for #2 … and other sources who SWEAR it’s a wedding.”

So, what will it be? Is Jeter ready to settle down and marry Davis? Is this just a lavish party to pay homage to Jeter’s illustrious career with the Yankees? Or, is this just No. 2’s way of thanking everyone who has played a part in his tremendous success?

Maybe it is all of the above. Then again, maybe it is none of the above. Maybe this is to simply talk about the great new website launched by Jeter intended to help fans and athletes connect on another level.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
