BREAKING: Adrian Peterson Suspended For At Least Rest Of 2014 NFL Season

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has suspended without pay for at least the rest of the 2014 NFL season. After finishing up with his hearing recently, the NFL announced on Tuesday that Peterson  will not be considered for reinstatement until before April 15, 2015.

This is all due to Peterson violating the league’s personal conduct policy, including an arrest charge for beating his young son and also admitting to doing drugs during his suspension.

Peterson was quite hopeful that he could return to the Vikings as soon as Week 12. Peterson has already announced that he will appeal the decision by the NFL, although it may be some time before we see him in an NFL backfield, whether it is with the Vikings this season or another team in 2015.
