I will try to keep this somewhat short, mainly because the two morons I am writing about do not deserve much time. They are complete idiots. I admit that I do not listen to sports talk radio. In fact, I abhor sports talk radio, mainly because 98.5 percent of the hosts are complete and utter imbeciles, in addition to being 100 percent obnoxious. I get that it is their jig, but I find them entirely annoying and simply cannot listen. After reading about what was said on The Felger and Mazz Show on 98.5 Sports Hub Boston, I feel more than vindicated in my feelings.
If you follow sports, you know the tragic story of the passing of former MLB standout pitcher, Roy Halladay, who lost his life in a plane crash earlier this week. Following the news of the former ace’s untimely passing, everyone came out with nothing but glowing things to say about the former leader of the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto BlueJays. Until 98.5 decided to let a couple of the world’s biggest assholes speak their diminished minds. Here are just some of the quotes from The Felger and Mazz Show, hosted by Mike Felger and Tony Massaroti:
-
“It angers me. Someone, who, I don’t know, is so cavalier about life and just doesn’t appreciate the tenuousness of life and is willing to screw around with life and death? Especially when you have children, or a family?”
-
“That guy’s like the bad guy to me. You’ve got a family! And you’re going to screw around in a little toy plane?”
-
“You’re a multimillionaire with a loving family, and to you, you have to go get that thing where you can divebomb from 100 feet to five above the water with your single-engine plane with your hand out the window. ‘Wheee! Wheee! Yeah, man, look at the G-force on this! I’m Maverick! Pew pew pew! Yeah, man, look at this, this is so cool.’ And you die! Splat!”
-
“He’s not a militarily-trained pilot, he’s not a professionally-trained pilot, he’s a Joe Q. Citizen who buys a plane that folds up and you can put in your garage and that’s amphibious, ‘Wheee! Oh look, I just landed on the water, everybody! I’m going to tweet it!’ Splat. You’re dead. With two kids. Moron.”
-
“What bugs me about a story like this is when they use the word ‘tragedy.’ A tragedy is what happened at that church in Texas this past weekend, or an orphanage burning down. This? You know what the risks are! …If you’re a thrill-seeker and you die this way, you know the risks. It’s an unfortunate circumstance, not a tragedy.”
After the extremely moronic and insensitive segment, these two idiots actually defended themselves to the public. The incredibly asinine duo continued to say that Halladay “got what he deserved,” including Felger calling Halladay a “moron,” an “idiot” and a “jackass” repeatedly.
Listen up, Felger and Mazz. Halladay was a class act. He did not get what he deserved. You two are morons. You should be fired. That is what you deserve. I hope that 98.5 Sports Hub Boston has the balls to do the right thing.
Fire Felger and Mazz.
Now!

I don’t care if we need to start a petition to take idiots like Felger and Mazz off of the air.

I agree, they should be fired.
Well, after spending 75 years on this planet earth I have finally met the PERFECT human being that has NEVER said OR done anything that they are ashamed of or done ANYTHING wrong. I was always under the impression that there was only one person that was PERFECT in every possible way.. now I read this drivel by a complete and utter moron that admits he never listened to the remarks or cares too but is fine with chastising without hearing the complete episode. NOW, was what was said insensitive, yes… If you had done your due diligence, you would know that he has apologized for the timing and insensitive remarks with great remorse.. Nuff said…
P.S. YOU SHOULD BE FIRED FOR SENSATIONALISM WITHOUT KNOWLEGE… I do not know who you are, nor do I care, in my book YOU ARE A PHONY….
Please. Felger apologized because he was suspended by NBCSN. Both of those idiots tweeted LATER THAT DAY how they did or said nothing wrong and would not take it back. The “apology” was forced to save their asses. And look up the meaning of sensationalism. You’re a bit off on that one, Burtie.
