Day 8 – Pound It!

Today was crazy and fun and exhausting and I’m going to do it all over again.

We rocked the new updated Daily Workout and then said, “Hey, What the hell? Let’s go to PoundFit at the YMCA.

It’s working out, with drumsticks, while moving to the music (kind of like dancing except lunges, squats, leg lifts, and a hell of a lot of cardio). Someone managed to take two of the things I enjoy the most, drumming, and dancing, and then made it into a High-Intensity Interval Training. You start slow and pick up the pace quick, its easy to get lost but you find your rhythm again shortly. Also, they drop the lights so you don’t really have to worry if anyone is watching you, and honestly they’re not, you’ve got to focus on the instructor or you’re going to be lost quick.

The instructor by the way, Kristi, was awesome. She had a ton of energy and kept it light and fun while giving us an awesome workout. She also had a fun playlist of music to go with it.

I now strongly recommend PoundFit if you get a chance.

Also, I may not be able to walk in the morning, but that’s OK. I’ve got tomorrow’s daily workout to keep me loose!
